WHAT IS LAVA? Open your eyes to a psychedelic detailing experience designed
to take your mind to a totally new level of shine; a dream world of radiant color.
เชื่อว่าหลายๆท่านคงมีคำถามว่า LAVA เป็น wax หรือ sealant ตัวใหม่ของ Chemical Guys หรือเปล่า?
คำตอบคือไม่ใช่ทั้งสองอย่างครับ จากประสบการณ์และความสำเร็จที่ผ่านมามากกว่า 40ปีในการคิดค้นและผลิต wax และ sealant
ทำให้ Chemical Guys ตัดสินใจที่จะลองเลือกทางเดินใหม่
เลือกที่จะเริ่มต้นจากศูนย์บน new formulation drawing board และทำในสิ่งเคยคิดว่าเป็นไปไม่ได้
ผลลัพธุ์ที่ได้ก็คือ LAVA – Luminous Glow Infusion ครับ
จาก Objective เดิมๆของน้ำยาเคลือบสีทั่วไปที่เน้นไปในเรื่องของความทนทาน ความเงา ความลื่น
ทำให้ Product Development Team ของเรามานั่งวิเคราะห์กันว่ายังมี characteristics อย่างอื่นอีกมั้ย
ที่เราและลูกค้าของเราอยากจะให้มีในน้ำยาเคลือบสี แต่ได้มองข้ามไป หรือไม่เคยคิดถึงเนื่องจากมีความเชื่อว่าไม่สามารถทำได้
หรือทำไม่ได้ในทางเทคนิค ข้อสรุปสุดท้ายที่ได้คือการตัดสินใจที่จะเริ่มจากศูนย์
โดยมี characteristics ของน้ำยาเคลือบที่เราและลูกค้าของเราต้องการเป็นโจทก์หลัก
โดยไม่สนใจว่าจะทำได้หรือไม่ได้ณเวลานั้น จากนั้นเราทำงานในลักษณะ from the ground up
และ work around the problems เพื่อให้ได้ final formulation ที่มี characteristics ตามที่เราตั้งไว้
ซึ่งในช่วงนั้นเองทำให้เราได้พบกับความรู้และมุมมองใหม่ๆในระหว่าง trial and error process
และได้ technology + raw materials ใหม่ที่นำมาใช้กับ LAVA และกับสินค้าใหม่ๆของ Chemical Guys ที่จะตามมาในอนาคตครับ
ปรกติแล้ว wax หรือ sealant ทั่วๆไปจะช่วยทำให้พื้นผิว surface ดูใส เงา สวย ฉ่ำ หรือเข้มขึ้น
โดย base จากพื้นเฉดสีเดิมตามปรกติ
แต่สิ่งที่ LAVA ทำได้มากกว่านั้นคือความสามารถในการเร่งหรือปรับความคมชัดของ color shading
หรือเฉดสีให้มากขึ้นไปอีกในทุกๆสีครับ
DURABILITY? When a volcanic eruption occurs in nature,
a plethora of liquid molten rock is sent from the center of the planet to the outer crust creating
a solid piece of earth which cools to form an element that is truly hard as a rock.
Lava takes inspiration from nature to create a layer of advanced protection that is rock hard.
ด้วยขั้นตอนการผลิตที่ซับซ้อนของ LAVA ที่เริ่มจาก HOT emulsification & blending process
จากนั้น hot-poured ลงใน double walled container ทีมีการทำให้เย็น pre-cooled ไว้ล่วงหน้า
เพื่อควบคุมอุณภูมิให้เท่ากันทั่วทั้ง container ตามด้วยการ cool down ใน annealing chamber อีก 4-5วัน
เพื่อให้ได้ high stability homogenous semi-solid state mousse
ซึ่งเป็น unique formulation ของ Chemical Guys ที่เมื่อเซ็ทตัวหลังลงแล้ว
จะสร้างชั้นเคลือบที่หนาแข็งทนต่อความร้อนสูงถึง 300F โดยไม่มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงของ molecular structure ของชั้นเคลือบ
ให้ความเงางามนานเท่ากับ protection ที่ได้
ทำให้คำพูดปรกติสำหรับ wax และ sealant ที่ว่า “protection outlasts shine” คงใช้ไม่ได้กับ LAVA!!!
